Blessings everyone! I wanted to share this video again that I recorded a little over a year ago in regard to “Parenting with an Illness.” As many of you know and for those who maybe new to me, what led me to becoming a health and wellness coach was my battle with Lyme disease and co-infections and also what I saw my mother go through with ovarian cancer.
This video could be for any parent/guardian that is going through an illness or having to deal with a medical condition. I know with the weather where I live being so all over the place, a couple of my symptoms flare at times like they are today, and I have to keep myself uplifted and positive. I rewatched my own video just to give myself motivation and I hope that it can help someone else as well.
If you like to talk more about my journey, what health and wellness coaching is about and my practice (Divine Wryte Wellness), then please message me here.
Take very good care, keep your head and spirits lifted and if you’re having a very difficult time, please reach out to loved ones or those who can assist. Sending love, light and peace to each of you.
Blessings everyone! As some may know…I’m now an Independent Wellness Advocate for doTERRA (thanks for the push people)!
Here’s a sneak peek into a couple of my faves from doTERRA. I had to kick off with Breathe! One of the symptoms that hit me like a ton of bricks in fall of 2012 due to Lyme and Co-infections was shortness of breath/respiratory issues. I still battle with this symptom.
.
When I was introduced to Breathe, it served as a nice partner with the other remedies and treatments I was undergoing. You’ll learn more about it in the video as well as Deep Blue! If you are in need of any kind of relief from pain, aches or even just after a good workout, you want to have Deep Blue in your life.
.
.
If you want to learn, shop and find out about more, then head right on over to my new essential oils page right here on my website.
Spread the love, thank you in advance for your support and let’s get healthier together!
Many blessings to all! It’s been a while since I shared a poem. Enjoy, “Marathon to Inner Peace.” You will hear that we were challenged in my Writing to Wellness class hosted by Creative Suitland and facilitated by Spoken Word artist and Poet Extraordinare C. Thomas to write about the journey to inner peace…do you give up because it’s taking too long or keep going?
Healing is painful and is not a Sprint, just like in the picture above of me completing a marathon…it takes time to train for it, then you finish by running one step at a time at your own pace. However, the other side is a great reward and much deserved! You deserve to heal!
.
Thank you for stopping by and if you love what you hear, consider supporting this season by purchasing one or all of my poetry books you can head over to my author page at the store
.
I’m having a special where each set of all 3 poetry books while supplies last, will get a free magnetic bookmark that has encouraging words on it. Each set is $40 plus shipping and you can check out my website for more details on my author and writing website at www.serenawills.com

Many blessings everyone!! One of my Aunt’s sent the image above to me earlier today. One kind word can truly change the trajectory of someone’s day. They can have a tough day ahead and your kind word can push them through. You never know the impact of one kind word until you say it and sometimes it may happen at the end of the day. If that is the case, pause and give thanks for the kindness.
Also, be kind to yourself today too. Look at yourself in the mirror and say something positive to yourself.

I remember leading a group through my Calm Connection Workplace Wellness Program recently through a variety of meditation’s. One in particular was the Loving Kindness Meditation and it felt so wonderful to not only share this with people, but to show them how just a little bit of kindness towards themselves and others can shift their entire day!
If you know of an organization, small company, Health practice or a group that could benefit from self-care workshops and a Workplace Wellness program; then please send them my way. It’s a blessing to help teach people how to de-stress while they are going through their day and how to be kind to themselves. You can find out more about my program by clicking here.
Be well everyone!!! Take good care. Remember to be kind to others and make sure to do the same for yourself. Many blessings.
